In practice, so-called Linux distributions are usually used. Various software has been put together into a finished package. Each of these distributions contains Linux or the Linux kernel.

ECDL/ICDL certificates – Easter at ISE

In October last year, an ECDL course began at the ISE language and vocational training center in Amberg, which was expanded to include knowledge of Linux and network technology. The course participants were both part-time and full-time employees who began the course with a wide range of previous knowledge. For course leader Max Schobert, this posed an organizational challenge because the lessons had to be designed in terms of time and content so that all course participants could grasp all the training content and ultimately pass the final module exams.
