Integration course participants report on their experiences

After about three months, the 33rd integration course at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center came to a successful end. The language course was led by our lecturer Urszula Deckert and continuously supervised by Nina Korbmacher. Today we would like to give the floor to some participants to talk about their experiences.

My name is Thi Mai Phuong Nguyen and am from Vietnam. But all of the course participants called me Mai.
I attended the language course from April 30, 2012 to July 27, 2012. I am very happy that I was able to take the German course. During the course we spoke, read, listened and practiced a lot of letters. Now I find German grammar a lot easier than before. I can now understand texts better and when I speak I almost always form sentences correctly. It's a shame that I'm still too quiet and therefore don't talk much.
I would like to thank my German teacher, Ms. Deckert. I would also like to thank Ms. Nina Korbmacher for her help. I don't want to forget to thank Mr. Albrecht, Mr. Domogalla, Mr. Gebhardt and Mr. Blendowski for their help and understanding.

My name is Tatiana Rudak. I come from Belarus and have been living in Germany with my husband and son for 2.5 years. At the ISE language and vocational training center in Amberg, I attended the integration course for 300 hours with 16 other course participants. People from nine nations struggled together with the pitfalls of the German language. We talked a lot in class; I particularly liked that. Before the course started, I didn't dare to speak much. A few days ago I spoke on the phone with my German friends. I know that I have to continue to improve my German skills in order to get a good job.

My name is Aysenur Coskun, I am 19 years old and come from Turkey.
I came to Germany 16 months ago and live here with my husband. I now speak fairly good German and can understand the people here. The language course at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center was very good. The three months of the German course flew by. Despite the short time, I learned a lot. Every week we held dialogues, read texts, wrote letters and also listened. Ms. Deckert was a very good teacher and Ms. Nina Korbmacher always helped us.
