The ISE language and vocational training center in Amberg was pleased to receive a visit from the Amberg job center on Thursday, November 21st, 2013. Mr. Liermann (team leader of the job center) and his colleague Mr. Farnbauer wanted to get to know the teaching content of the qualification to become a nursing assistant and carer in accordance with Section 87 b. The measure, which is financed by EU funds and the job center, started on July 1, 2013.
As is usual in schools, there were first theoretical lessons on the topic “The path to a nursing diagnosis – employment”. Here the two gentlemen had the opportunity to go back to school. Afterwards, the course participants worked in groups to prepare three stations with employment opportunities for seniors.
The first group presented exercise exercises for seniors. These were simple, effective and intended to bring joy to the seniors.
Next there was the opportunity to be creative. Various painting techniques that are also suitable for seniors with disabilities could be tried out.
At the end of the visit, Mr. Liermann and Mr. Farnbauer summarized that the insight into the employment opportunities with the seniors was very extensive and varied and also praised the professional work of the course participants.
We thank you for the nice visit!
