(Amberg) Learning pays off! – On October 7th, 2013, the ceremonial awarding of certificates to the newly qualified accounting specialists took place in the premises of the ISE language and vocational training center in Amberg (Kaiser-Ludwig-Ring 9, post office building), who had studied very hard over the past few months and demonstrated their knowledge in the many performance assessments. Due to their good performance, the participants can now look forward to better entry opportunities and better pay on the job market. In any case, the qualification significantly improves the personal applicant profile. Some participants have already been able to take up permanent employment.
When the qualification to become a CDT accounting specialist with DATEV, Lexware, SAP R/3 began at the beginning of April, all participants knew in advance that a significant amount of learning would have to be completed. At the beginning - as in almost every qualification - various fears arose: “Will I be able to do everything?”. In the group that was quite large this time (18 participants), these concerns were soon a thing of the past. The offer of this qualification in the form of a part-time measure was predominantly accepted by women from Amberg and the Amberg-Sulzbach district. However, two men were also able to prove that the discipline of accounting is not an exclusive female domain.
According to the motto “Together we are strong!” The participants always helped each other - always, of course, under the expert guidance of the course leader, Angela Scheibeck. The focus of the qualification was on training the participants in various areas of accounting. In addition, the course participants were able to get to know typical industry programs for recording business cases through practical work on the PC. This included the software DATEV, SAP R/3 and Lexware. Accounting specialists can gain a foothold in the commercial economy and in various administrations with the now deeper and updated knowledge and skills. During the qualification, the participants were able to make company contacts and put what they had learned directly into practice in an internship lasting approximately four weeks. Helmut Albrecht supported the participants in their internship search in his role as internal internship supervisor, whereby the individual preferences and interests of the course participants regarding companies and areas of application were largely taken into account.
The ISE Language and Vocational Training Center, its management and employees wish the newly trained accounting specialists all the best for their professional and personal future.
