“Making people great doesn’t mean treating them the way they want to be treated. It means treating them so that they develop.”

Integration course participants were successful

There was also reason to be happy at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center on Friday, February 8th, 2013: The course participants were presented with certificates for the successful completion of the integration course in Amberg. The German language course began on May 29, 2012 and was successfully completed on January 10, 2013 with the orientation course on the topic of Germany.

Managing director Peter Blendowski from the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center congratulated the course participants on their good results. The aim of the course, namely to prepare immigrants to participate equally in life in Germany, was achieved. Mr. Rohrer from the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees pointed out that only good language skills can ensure success on the job market. Mr. Schott from the immigration office of the city of Amberg emphasized the need to get to know the German legal system during the orientation course. This represents a good basis for the lives of migrants in Germany. Course leader Johann Lengenfelder presented the certificates and congratulated the participants for their remarkable achievements. Over the last few months, the integration course participants have been able to acquire the necessary and required knowledge through hard work and interest. By completing the course, the participants are now able to find their way around language in a wide variety of life situations. They also learned a lot from each other about the peculiarities of the way of life in their colleagues' countries of origin: Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Russia, India, USA, Iraq, Philippines. 21 participants took the two tests. Everyone passed the orientation test. In the German exam, 17 reached the desired B1 level, some even with the highest possible number of points. The certificate now proves your language skills. Once they have reached level A2, the others have acquired the right to demonstrate their language skills again after a three-month BAMF-funded repetition course. But for all 21 participants, the completed integration course is an important step towards integration into the new society in which they now live.
