Elasto form KG opens its doors to ISE course participants

Elasto form KG shows interested ISE training participants its production secrets – ISE retrainees and participants explore promotional products and advertising materials manufacturer Elastoform

Sulzbach-Rosenberg.

Before the tour began through the company, which was founded in 1980 by Gerhard and Hertha Sperber and was dedicated to building a wide range of promotional products, our group was warmly welcomed by Mr. Bauer, assistant to the management, and Mr. Galanz, the company's training manager.

Galanz reported on the beginnings of the company and the very wide product range of the medium-sized promotional products manufacturer elasto form KG in the Sulzbach-Rosenberg region, which also imports items from Far Eastern countries into the Upper Palatinate as part of extensive globalization.

Participants in this factory tour were truly amazed at the efficiency of production (output 500,000 parts per day) and the range of goods in stock. The production of various plastic items using various injection molding machines could be experienced “live”, and various injection molding techniques and processes were clearly explained. You could get a first impression of modern finishing processes such as screen, pad, transfer printing and the like close to the production lines. For participants who are enthusiastic about technology, the tour of the printing presses, packaging and assembly halls, mold making and CAD design must have been very exciting.

During the approximately two-hour company tour, logistical processes were explained, among other things. According to Galanz, over 65,000 packages are shipped every year and the company also has 20,000 pallet spaces.

The company Elasto form trains the professions of wholesale and foreign trade clerk (f/m), warehouse logistics specialist (f/m), process mechanic in plastics and rubber technology, tool mechanic, screen printer and media designer. The company also offers various internships, including in the warehouse logistics area.

Elasto form would like to continue to maintain its production site in Germany as a high-quality plastics processor and one of the largest promotional products manufacturers in Europe. The family business currently employs around 240 people at the Sulzbach-Rosenberg location.

We would like to thank the company elasto form KG for the well-organized company tour.
