Caring for old, sick or disabled people is a responsible task. Basic care, soothing washing, nutrition, documentation are just a small example of the very complex learning content that the participants had to face. In order to meet these challenges, women and a man from different walks of life once again attended an educational measure at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center in Amberg. The qualification was carried out in cooperation with the private vocational school for geriatric care and geriatric care assistance of ISE GmbH (non-profit).
The majority not only managed all the learning material with very good success, they also passed a practical exam followed by an internship with flying colors. The participants were proud to receive their certificates on July 7, 2011. The course leader, Ms. Prechtl, sees her participants as ideally equipped for the diverse tasks as nursing or domestic helpers.
