Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, i.e. text files that are stored on your computer and which enable your use of the website to be analyzed. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, due to the activation of IP anonymization on these websites, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not combined with other Google data.

If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or prevents access, content will be displayed in a standard font.
Calling script libraries or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible - although it is currently unclear whether and, if so, for what purposes - that operators of corresponding libraries collect data.
The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Video surveillance of the entrance areas
Detection area
The cameras are set and aligned in such a way that they only capture the entrance areas. Public space outside of the ISE's operational areas is not included. Other rooms such as administration and training rooms or hallways as well as sanitary areas are also not in the detection range of the cameras.
Purpose of collection and legitimate interests
The video recordings are created for the following purposes:
- If people have entered the ISE's premises who are not authorized to do so - for example due to a ban on entering the premises - or have carried out a harmful act within the ISE's premises, the video recordings are intended to help clarify the incident.
- If criminal offenses or other damaging events occur within the ISE business premises or in the immediate vicinity or are related to people who are or have previously been in the business premises, the video recordings are intended to identify the person(s) responsible and to clarify the incident contribute.
- The video recordings help to meet the protection needs of visitors and employees. They should not only have a preventive effect, but also an additional one.
Danger situation
Specific incidents in the past create a dangerous situation and justify the interests of the person responsible and third parties who may also be exposed to a threat due to the dangerous situation. These interests regularly outweigh the right to informational self-determination of the person affected by the measure. If necessary, the specific facts on which the threat situation is based can be viewed from the ISE data protection officer. The interests of the data subject, who is captured via video recording, were carefully weighed against the legitimate interests of the controller (ISE) and third parties (visitors, employees).
Necessity and suitability
Milder or more suitable means than video recording of the entrance areas are not available as an alternative to pursuing the stated purposes. The video recording appears to be suitable for fulfilling the intended purposes.
Legal basis
The video recordings are necessary to protect the legitimate interests of the controller or third parties and are legally based on Article 6 paragraph 1 letter f of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Storage duration or criteria for determining the duration
The video recordings are usually automatically deleted after 72 hours at the latest.
The recordings will only be viewed or evaluated if relevant incidents - such as those resulting from the description of the purpose - have occurred or if there is a concrete suspicion of a corresponding incident. Otherwise, the recordings will be automatically deleted without any prior inspection.
Certain recordings may be retained for longer if they are believed to help resolve a relevant incident.
Furthermore, recordings can be retained for longer if deletion within the standard period of 72 hours is not possible or does not make sense due to operational requirements; This would be the case, for example, during company holidays.
Storage location, data access
For the duration of storage, the video recordings are stored exclusively in a single, particularly secure storage location within the controller's local data processing system. Additional copies of the data are never made, not even for data backup purposes (exclusion of the data from the automatic backup system). The recordings are never sent to, moved to, stored or processed outside of the controller's physical system resources (such as in a cloud or on a remote system capable of remote access to the data, or on an external data storage medium). An exception to this rule applies to certain records that must be transmitted to authorized third parties (e.g. investigative authorities) for the purpose of evaluation. In individual cases, the person responsible will ensure that the transfer or handover is sufficiently secured against unauthorized access. The data is not accessible via the Internet using conventional technical means.
The recordings are secured against access from outside (firewall) and are also only stored in encrypted form.
Access to the recordings is only possible for the person responsible for this purpose. Access is limited to the smallest possible, necessary group of people. The data is stored in encrypted form. The persons authorized to access have been obliged to maintain data secrecy, are reliable and have the necessary technical expertise to ensure the requirements for adequate data protection. The recorded data is adequately protected against access by unauthorized employees of the controller through appropriate physical and electronic access restrictions, including two-factor authentication (2FA) and data encryption.
Data transfer to third parties
Certain selected recordings may be passed on to authorized third parties if these recordings can presumably help to clarify relevant incidents or are requested by investigative authorities to investigate criminal offenses. Any other transfer of the recordings beyond this is generally excluded.
