This year there will again be two retraining courses for warehouse logistics specialists. The ISE language and vocational training center can demonstrate very good success with this retraining. The next retraining will take place in Amberg at Kaiser-Ludwig-Ring 9 (near the train station/main post office). If you would like to “get” one of the coveted training positions, you should hurry up and register.
Be flexible and learn
Warehouse logistics specialists work in many different industries, which opens up a variety of career prospects. Vocational training is the first step towards professional life. Then you can move on, for example as a business economist specializing in sales management. Of course, the goal can also be professional independence. One thing is clear: no one has to do the same thing in the same job all their life. On the contrary: If you want to have good opportunities on the job market or as an independent entrepreneur these days, you have to be flexible and continue your training regularly.
Retraining with perspective!
There are plenty of courses, courses or seminars to further specialize later, e.g. B. Scheduling, storage and transport planning and shipping logistics. Under certain conditions, e.g. B. several years of professional experience, various further training courses are possible, including:
- Trainer (responsible for training trainees)
- Master for warehouse logistics
- Business economist specializing in sales management or logistics
After attending a technical college, it is possible to study at a technical college (FH), including: the degree program for qualified industrial engineer for transport and logistics.
What do warehouse logistics specialists do?
Whether in high racks, containers or barrels, every transport company, every industrial and commercial company has to store its various goods and raw materials and prepare them for shipping, sale or processing. Warehouse logistics specialists know exactly what needs to be taken into account when storing perishable goods, for example, and how to prepare fragile goods or dangerous goods, such as explosive substances, for transport. They receive the goods, check them and bring the containers and pallets to the right place using a forklift, for example. You never lose track of everything, no matter how full the warehouse is. For outgoing goods, they plan tours, create accompanying documents, process shipping documents, determine packaging costs and put together loading units.
Entry requirements
In principle, no specific previous training is required to start teaching. However, most companies expect at least a secondary school leaving certificate, some also require a technical college entrance qualification (intermediate school leaving certificate). The retraining ends after two years when the final exam is passed.
Other important information:
