For many employers, the recruiting process takes longer than usual. This can have a variety of reasons, but it does not mean that open applications that have been with the company for some time will inevitably result in rejections. It is important that applicants maintain contact with a potential employer underline your interest in the position. But why are many employers currently taking so much time when it comes to filling new positions - whether consciously or unconsciously? Every time you apply, applicants should be clear about the current state of the company. Is the company currently in the short-time work phase? What industry does the company operate in? Have you recently read anything in the regional press about restructuring (which is often accompanied by layoffs) or, for example, a social plan?
