Reskilling to become a Certified Specialist in Warehouse Logistics (IHK)

This year, the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center is once again offering two retraining courses in the training profession of warehouse clerk (IHK). The state-recognized training occupation, whose training period is normally two years, can be completed in just 16 months through retraining. There are a wide range of possible applications for specialist warehouse workers in industry, trade and services, such as: B. in shipping companies.

Warehouse specialists work, among other things, in goods receiving, incoming goods inspection, warehousing and picking as well as shipping. Warehouse logistics specialists also play an active role in planning and organizing warehouse operations and logistical processes. During the training, the use of various IT programs is practiced; industry-specific technical terms, along with many other topics, are also part of the teaching content of this varied logistics profession.

Other important information:

• During the training, practical instructions take place in the Loxxess warehouse, Jubatus Allee 6, 92263 Ebermannsdorf.
• The forklift training takes place over 3 to 5 days of instruction at the traffic training center in Amberg.
• The costs of the measures are explained in the training contract. There are no costs for holders of an education voucher.
• Literature provided as part of the cost of the measure: Logistical processes, course and workbook, specialist arithmetic, economic and social processes.
• Costs for the professional clothing required to carry out the internship will be covered by ISE.
• Total number of hours is 2,640 (1,920 teaching hours and 720 internship hours), 1 hour. or 1 hour each includes 45 minutes.

To better understand the lesson content, we offer free tutoring if required. Larger learning gaps or understanding problems can therefore be quickly remedied.
