On the mountain. (usc) The jobs of warehouse logistics specialist or warehouse clerk are no longer a male domain. Current evidence of this came from four women who successfully underwent training for this together with seven men. As a reward for their commitment, they were now able to receive their certificates after two years or 18 months of schooling.

Seven participants completed the course sponsored by the employment agency at the language and vocational training center ISE after two years of training as warehouse logistics specialists, four participants cram for 18 months in order to now have the IHK certificate as a specialist warehouse clerk in their hands. The ISE, the employment agency and the Chamber of Industry and Commerce are convinced that there are very good future prospects for both professional fields.

According to the experiences of ISE managing director Peter Blendowski, the course participants had to completely change their lives and manage financially for 18 months or two years. It is all the more gratifying that all women and men have graduated, said Blendowski. “This opens up new opportunities for them on the job market,” said Blendowski with conviction, especially since these qualifications can be used to build up further qualifications. Blendowski thanked Manuela Janker, team leader for employment services at the employment agency, for the trust he has placed in his institute.

“The very good examination results reflect the good cooperation between ISE and the IHK,” emphasized IHK training consultant Michael Surner in his welcoming speech. The graduates have very good career prospects, also in view of booming e-commerce. “Skilled workers are needed for this,” said Surner.

The graduates could be proud of themselves, emphasized Manuela Janker, employment team leader at the employment agency. For the duration of the training, the four women and eight men had to balance a lot in their lives. Janker expressly assured that ISE enjoyed the full trust of the employment agency with its training measures. A word of appreciation also went to course leader Kirschner, who was of course personally very pleased with the 100 percent success rate. After his many years of experience, he emphasized, the graduates have the potential for a higher professional level, such as becoming a master.
