14 successful graduates at ISE – Become a warehouse logistics specialist in two years

ON THE MOUNTAIN. At a small ceremony, the head of the Language and Vocational Training Center (ISE), Peter Blendowski, welcomed not only the successful graduates of the warehouse logistics course, but also teachers and representatives from the employment agency and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK). A lot of energy and perseverance were required during the two years of training, says Blendowski. Of the originally 16 participants, 14 received the coveted certificate on Friday. As the representative of the IHK, Karl-Heinz Lex, stated, an excellent cut was achieved. This is not always the rule and speaks for the hard work of the participants and for the quality of the ISE training institute. Franz Elsner, branch manager of the Amberg employment agency, emphasized that several employment relationships have already been concluded and some are imminent.

This retraining measure was worth it and was hopefully the start of a fulfilling professional activity. The placement of jobs was accompanied by Martin Bösl, supervisor at the Amberg Employment Agency. Blendowski and the participants gave special praise to Helmut Albrecht from ISE and the head of retraining at ISE, Richard Kirschner. He was there for the participants around the clock and was more involved than usual. He received a “best certificate” from the retrainees as a thank you.

Upon completion, the participants received qualifications as warehouse logistics specialists. The prospects: further training to become a specialist in sales management but also a direct entry into professional life in the logistics sector. Every trading company has to store its goods and raw materials, prepare them for shipping or for further processing. The new specialists know what to do with goods, whether perishable, explosive or fragile. They receive delivered goods, bring them to the designated location, plan the routes for the outgoing goods, create the accompanying documents, determine the costs and put together the loading units. These are just some of the diverse tasks in the area of warehouse logistics.

Elisabeth Gradl and Georg Forchammer achieved the grade “very good”. Cornelia Büttner, Olga Fitz, Vladimir Golcer, Thomas Hebeler, Dietmar Mahlmann, Alexander Meier, Tobias Ott, Christiane Paulus, Rainer Rölz, Helmut Scharf, Vinzenz Uschold, Apostolos Vougazianos and Steve Wolf passed with good results.
