Due to demographic developments, the need for geriatric nurses and nursing assistants will continue to increase. Trained, qualified helpers and specialists in this area have good opportunities on the job market. The “Qualification in Nursing” offered by the ISE vocational school for geriatric care and geriatric care assistance in Amberg is a preparatory measure for state training to become a geriatric nurse and nursing assistant (elderly care), i.e. H. As long as the suitability is determined within the scope of this qualification, training in a state-recognized profession can be completed following this course. This paves the way for entry into a job on the labor market subject to social insurance contributions.
Objective

– Practical instruction takes place regularly in the demonstration room of the on-site geriatric care school.
– You carry out practical exercises in a technically equipped room under the guidance of the teacher.

– You can prove yourself in the internship and thus have a chance of being hired.

- The costs of the measures are explained in the training contract. There are no costs for holders of an education voucher.
- Scripts will be made available to participants free of charge.
- Costs for the necessary professional clothing for carrying out the internship will be covered by ISE if necessary.
- Total number of hours is 504 (344 teaching hours and 160 internship hours), 1 hour. or 1 hour includes 45 minutes each.
- Participants receive a certificate and a certificate of participation with the detailed course content.
