On the mountain. (usc) The trainers at the ISE language and vocational training center paid the utmost respect to the eleven successful participants in the retraining program in the training occupation of warehouse logistics specialist and to the seven men and women who passed the IHK final examination in the profession of “warehouse specialist”. The proportion of people with a migrant background here was almost 80 percent.
The ISE language and vocational training center has been carrying out such retraining measures on behalf of the Federal Employment Agency and the Amberg-Sulzbach job center for over 20 years. With good and very good success, as education coordinator Peter Blendowski emphasized during the distribution of certificates. “Almost everyone has passed the final exam in the past and quickly found a permanent position,” reported Blendowski, not without pride. Since its inception, ISE has provided further qualifications to around 18,000 students from all over the world. This was only possible thanks to the intensive commitment of the employment agency's employment agency and the job center. Thanks to the ongoing good support as well as tireless motivation and support of the participants throughout the entire retraining period from the measure supervisor Angelika Leitgeb, employment agent at the Amberg employment agency, very presentable results were achieved for the group of unskilled and again considered unskilled workers. With the IHK qualification in a state-recognized profession, your chances on the job market are significantly improved. Already at the time of handing over the certificate, many participants can look forward to being employed.
The retraining to become a warehouse logistics specialist (IHK) with eleven participants took place full-time over a period of two years. Seven men and women passed the retraining as warehouse clerk (IHK) after 16 months of studying. The exam hurdle for this group of people was high in that most of them still had some difficulties with the German language. The participants come from Latvia, Argentina, Romania, Moldova and Poland, among others. So it was first necessary to deal with the specific technical jargon in the warehouse logistics sector.
When awarding the certificate, education coordinator Blendowski emphasized the immense hard work and perseverance shown in this group. ISE managing director and training manager of the warehouse logistics division Richard Kirschner sent a heartfelt word of thanks to those responsible at the Amberg employment agency and the Amberg-Sulzbach job center, namely the measures supervisor Angelika Leitgeb, who was unable to attend the certificate awarding ceremony due to the corona pandemic. Kirschner also thanked the responsible employees of the IHK. According to Kirschner, the degree is a decisive, important phase in an individual's life that opens up new professional opportunities. He referred to the existing further qualifications, such as warehouse logistics master or specialist.
Managing director and lecturer Domogalla paid the graduates the utmost respect for how they completed the training. They could be rightly proud of that, as course leader Ivonne Roidl added.
