Modular measure to impart specialist skills and professional qualifications
Already for the second time (starting on 11.11.2013) The ISE Language and Vocational Training Center is launching the modular measure “Opportunity for Older People” to impart specialist skills and professional qualifications. During the measure, internships and application training increase the chances of starting a career. The ISE team also supports the participants in their job search during the measure.
Content
Module 1 – Basic Qualifications
Key qualifications essential for professional success
- Willingness to find your way in a new living and working environment
- concentrate on tasks and be able to solve them independently
- Constructively absorb other people's thoughts and actions
- plan and structure your own actions
- Make suggestions for improvements and work on solving problems
- Deal with failure positively and endure stress
- Work towards a well-groomed appearance
- Health management to maintain, improve or restore employability
Situation on the labor market and application training
- Current requirements on the labor market
- Apply differently
(Application documents, new forms of application, interview, role plays, correct “styling”, telephone conversation training, etc.) - employment relationship
(Rights, obligations, legal regulations)
Basic professional qualifications,
to gain insight into the requirement profiles of various professions, e.g. B. out
- industry and crafts,
- Care,
- Economy and administration,
- Service and trade.
The insights into the various professional fields are individual and participant-oriented.
Module 2 – advanced qualifications
Communication skills at work
- Contact and manners with superiors, employees and customers
- Teamwork and conflict resolution
- Plan, agree, coordinate
Sound general knowledge
- Communication skills, e.g. B. speak appropriately to the situation

Attendance times:
- Attendance times for full-time employees: Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m
- Attendance times for part-time employees: will be agreed with the employment agency

Important informations:
- The costs of the measures are explained in the training contract. There are no costs for holders of an education voucher.
- The cost of the measure includes the costs for specialist literature provided.
- Scripts will be made available to participants free of charge.
- The total number of hours per module is 480. One lesson consists of 45 minutes
- To determine personal suitability, an interview will be held with the participant.
- The participants receive an ISE certificate and a certificate of participation with the detailed course content.
We will support you in your job search while you take part in the measure.
You will receive technical and social-educational support throughout the duration of the program.
We help you deal with problem situations:
- Support for single parents
- Special help for participants with learning difficulties
- Use of learning groups
- Addiction and drug counseling (if necessary)
- Debt advice (if necessary)
If the personal requirements are met, funding can be granted by the AM-AS job center. Ask your employment agent!
