Nursing qualifications enable future-proof prospects

On the mountain. (usc) The restaurant industry is in a personnel crisis at the end of the pandemic lockdown. A number of skilled workers have looked for new work and have left a gap. Filling this was the aim of ISE retraining in the training profession of specialist in the hospitality industry (IHK). All eight graduates have already found work.

(usc) “It’s not the work we’re running out of, it’s the skilled workers.” In this respect, Michael Humbs, training advisor at the IHK, sees good opportunities for the eleven men and women who qualified as warehouse logistics specialists in a two-year course at ISE. The exam grade was “very good” three times and “good” three times.

In July 2021, the retraining at the ISE Language and Vocational Training Center, which was carried out more digitally than on-site for the first time, came to an end. A total of four graduates of the warehouse logistics retraining in the “warehouse specialist” training occupation can be pleased with their good to very good final results.

The need for nursing staff is constantly increasing. The job center does justice to this fact with qualification and retraining measures from the ISE language and vocational training center, including becoming a nursing assistant. Five women and three men successfully completed the ninth round of this measure.

New bus and truck drivers urgently needed

Bus companies and trucking companies are urgently waiting for young truck and bus drivers. This group successfully participated in an accelerated basic qualification. There are very good prospects for permanent employment, as local company representatives assured.
